The Indian Red Cross Society, Manipur State Branch, conducted One Day First Aid training to City Police personals.
The police personnel are the first responders in any emergencies and accidents. The City Police Station personnel are responding to casualties in such incidents in the jurisdiction of the City Police Station. Understanding the situation and discussing with the OC, Shri N. Gokulchandra Singh, the Indian Red Cross Society, Manipur State Branch, conducted a One-Day First Aid training program for the personnel on 15th July 2025 at 9 am at Thangal Lambi, in between the two Ima Keithels. The program was attended by Shri Narendra Ningomba, Chairman, Athokpam Nabachandra, General Secretary, of the State Branch, Dr. Th. Bankimchandra, Secretary, Imphal West of the Society, volunteers of the State Branch, and N. Gokulchandra Singh, OC, City Police Station. The personnel were trained on how to give CPR and how to give first aid for bleeding, fracture, burns, shock, fainting, and epilepsy etc. The training will benefit the general public at the time of such emergencies.
