Senior Professional Training on First Aid conducted by the Indian Red Cross Society, Manipur State Branch
As a capacity-building program, the Indian Red Cross Society, Manipur State Branch, organised a Senior Professional training on First Aid from 5th to 12th November 2025. The training was inaugurated by Shri Narendra Ningomba, Chairman of the State Branch and participated in by the volunteers of Bishnupur, Imphal East, Imphal West, Kakching, and Senapati District Branches. The training was given by Dr Kh. Aken Singh and Dr Bankimchandra Thokchom, Master Trainer. The training covered topics like Assessment of a casualty, CPR, bleeding, fractures, stroke, shocks, suffocation, burning, drowning, transportation, etc. Certification of participation was handed over to the trainees on the closing day by the Chairman, Vice Chairman and Treasurer of the State Branch.
