IRCS, Manipur State Branch along with District Branches organized Voluntary Blood Donation Programmes on World Blood Donor Day 2024.

Voluntary Blood Donation is a regular programme of Indian Red Cross Society, Manipur State Branch. Our District Branches also organizes such Voluntary Blood Donation programmes from time to time. Most of our youth volunteers are regular donors. On 14^th June, 2024; on the occasion of World Blood Donor Day 2024, IRCS, MSB along with District Branches organized Voluntary Blood Donation Programmes at different centres along with different organizations.

   IRCS, MSB organized at Blood Centre, JNIMS and collected 8 units; Bishnupur District Branched organized at District Hospital, Bishnupur by collecting 62 units of blood; Imphal East District Branch organized at Blood Centre, JNIMS and collected 20 units. IRCS, Imphal West District Branch organized at Blood Centre, JNIMS and Department of Transfusion Medicine, RIMS and collected 19 & 34 units of bllods respectively. Altogether we have collected 143 units of blood on this day.
