Indian Red Cross Society, Manipur State Branch distributed Woolen Blankets and Hygiene Kits:

As the winter season came, many aged and vulnerable people required warm clothing, especially woolen blankets. Many IDP relief camps also requested the Indian Red Cross Society, Manipur State Branch for blankets. Considering the situation, the Indian Red Cross Society, Manipur State Branch distributed Woolen Blankets and Hygiene kits to the vulnerable communities of many districts and many relief camps for IDPs. Thoubal and Kakching District Branches distributed blankets & hygiene kits to the vulnerable communities. Imphal West & Jiribam District Branches distributed woolen blankets to the aged persons of Alternate Housing Complex Relief Camp and many Relief Camps in Jiribam. The Deputy Commissioner & President of IRCS, Jiribam District Branch Shri Krishna Kumar, and SDO, Borobekra participated with our team in distributing Woolen Blankets and Hygiene kits to the IDPs. The communities and IDPs were happy for the timely intervention of the Indian Red Cross Society, Manipur State Branch.
