Flood Response at Thoubal District
On 26th August 2024, the Indian Red Cross Society, Manipur State Branch visited Flood Relief Camps opened at Leishangthem, Khangabok, and Tekcham of Thoubal district along with volunteers of Thoubal District Branch. The team interacted with the inmates of the relief camps and handed over Hygiene kits & Mosquito nets to each of the households.

Manipur experienced a flood this year, at the same time as it did last year. Five districts of Manipur were affected, namely Imphal East, Imphal West, Bishnupur, Senapati, and Kangpokpi.
