4 Voluntary Blood Donation Programs were organised by the Indian Red Cross Society, Manipur State Branch along with 2 District Branches.
The Indian Red Cross Society, Manipur State Branch, organised four Voluntary Blood Donation Programmes from 2nd March to 8th March 2026, in collaboration with two District Branches. On the 2nd March 2026, the IRCS, Imphal East District Branch, conducted a Voluntary Blood Donation Program in association with the Department of Vocational Studies and Skill Development at the Blood Centre, JNIMS. 11 donors, including 1 female, donated blood. On 6th March 2026, the IRCS, Manipur State Branch, organised a Voluntary Blood Donation Program at 69 Bn CRPF, at Mantripukhri, with the support of the Department of Transfusion Medicine, RIMS, as part of their Raising Day. A total of 61 CRPF Jawans donated blood voluntarily. On 8th March 2026, 54 Jawans of the 189 & 143 Bn CRPF donated blood at the Department of Transfusion Medicine, RIMS, Imphal as part of their 87th Raising Day and International Women’s Day Celebration. On the same day, the IRCS, Thoubal District Branch, also organised a Voluntary Blood Donation Program in association with IRDSO at Thoubal District Hospital as observance of International Women’s Day. A total of 15 donors, including 6 females, donated blood voluntarily.
